Filters
We specialize in the development of filters designed to eliminate dust and chemical gases, serving as indispensable components across a wide spectrum of industries. These applications cover Electronic semiconductors, Precision machinery, Nuclear power, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare facilities, Food production, and Building air conditioning systems.
Cleanroom equipment
Clean equipment, including cleanrooms and air showers, have become indispensable in many industries. We develop products that meet today’s needs in a variety of sectors, drawing on the extensive technological expertise we have built up over the years.
Glass fiber products
We convert glass fibers such as SILIGLASS (silica fiber) and ultrafine glass wool into diverse forms that are tailored to specific applications. We are also engaged in the development of environmental purification systems that utilize photocatalysts.

Nippon Muki was founded in 1939 as a glass fiber manufacturer and processor, and ventured into the air filter business in 1947. For over 70 years since then, we have amassed expertise in a multitude of fiber and filtration technologies.
By integrating "analysis and evaluation technology" into this array of expertise, we have laid the foundation for fundamental filter technologies, while also driving innovative research and development endeavors. We have pioneered the creation of pioneering technologies, both as the first in Japan and on a global scale, which include the "Ultra ULPA," a high-performance filter on a 0.01 micrometer scale, a heat-resistant air filter capable of withstanding temperatures up to 500℃, and the Gasphase filter "PureChemix G.
Launching global business as a member of the Daikin Group
Ever since becoming a member of the Daikin Group in 2009, Nippon Muki has expanded its business globally, broadening its scope of operations across the world.
By engaging in collaborative efforts with American Air Filter Company, Inc. (AAF), another member of the Daikin Group and a global leader in the air filter industry, Nippon Muki has effectively provided its products to pharmaceutical and a variety of other enterprises in Western countries. We are also proactively involved in joint development and technology exchange with the Daikin Group, universities, and research institutes to create technological innovations that will take us forward.
